I had to get here to post this lest I forget. I am at Vimeo watching a philosophical piece and it got me to thinking.
One of the Korean Dramas I am watching had a scene where a young man asks a young lady this question, "Tell me one thing that money cannot buy?" and the girl is at a loss for words.
Well, I don't believe you can "buy" the following no matter how much money you spend:
Inner Peace
Freedom from a guilty conscience
The feeling you get when you become a mother or father (you have to become one, you can't buy that feeling)
For someone to truly desire you (not your money)
The departed
You can't buy back time, either
You could spend a lot of money trying to get them, but it just doesn't work that way.
